Wintertime in Lonavala (October to February)
The Lonavala area's official peak season runs from October to March. Lonavala's winters provide a cool wind and beautiful sunshine. This time of year is ideal for sightseeing because the temperature ranges from 11 to 25 degrees Celsius. The greatest time to visit is in the first two to three weeks after the monsoon since there is still plenty of lush greenery and no clouds to obstruct your views. Many people love to travel to Lonavala in October and November when there are still few rains and the landscape is still covered in dew. Additionally, during these months, a number of day walks and treks are organized. Because they are believed to be warmer than their preceding months, January through March are ideal for sightseeing.

Due to how ideal these months are for the region and the influx of tourists they bring, it's possible that hotel rates will soar and availability could become a problem. That fact, however, is readily overlooked with some careful planning and should not prevent you from visiting the lovely hill station in the winter.

Monsoon season in Lonavala (July to September)
In Lonavala, monsoon season never ends. Except for a few half hours each day, the torrential, relentless rains don't appear to be ceasing anytime soon. Although some people might believe that traveling to Lonavala in such weather is not possible, this is untrue because the rain makes the hill station's rich flora stand out against the rocky surfaces and enhances its allure. We advise packing an extra pair (or two) of clothes, rain coats, and being ready to enjoy the rain at the waterfalls if you intend to travel during the monsoon. The few weeks following the end of the monsoon provide stunning flora without the constant rain.

Summertime in Lonavala (March to June)
Weather in Lonavala during the summer is unusually hot and muggy. While the temperature, which ranges from 25 to 35 degrees Celsius, is undoubtedly a reprieve from the heat in the adjacent towns, it isn't exactly the best climate for a hill station. Even though it gets extremely hot in the afternoons, the evenings and mornings are tolerable. Many trekkers travel to Lonavala and the neighboring areas for a few night hikes; they set out at 9 PM, get at the summit by midnight, and return early the next morning. As a result, the hill station's offseason runs from March to May. On the other hand, because it's off-season, hotels and bungalows are incredibly cheap and accessible.
